From October 22 to 24, 2019, the 25th National Conference on medical information of Chinese Medical Association, sponsored by Chinese Medical Association, medical informatics branch of Chinese Medical Association, undertaken by Sichuan Medical Association and co organized by West China Hospital of Sichuan University, was held in Chengdu. This conference is a kind of key academic annual meeting of Chinese Medical Association, and also the top academic conference of Chinese medical informatics. The theme of the conference is "medical informatics in Transformation: medical artificial intelligence and intelligent health". Professor Wang Wei, postdoctoral teacher Feng Jia and some graduate students attended the meeting. Professor Wang Wei presided over the first keynote report of the meeting on the morning of the 23rd. During the group exchange on the afternoon of the 23rd, Feng Jia, a postdoctoral teacher in the Department of medical informatics of our college, and Jiang Yuying, Chen Sihan, Liu Xin, and Li Bocheng, postgraduates, made special speeches respectively. A total of 15 excellent papers were selected. Feng Jia, a postdoctoral of our college, won the excellent thesis award of this conference. During the meeting, the working meeting of the eighth Committee, standing committee, youth committee, editorial board and pedagogy group of medical informatics branch of Chinese Medical Association was held. Professor Wang Wei attended the meeting.
The branch of medical informatics of Chinese Medical Association is the most authoritative and influential national academic group in the field of medical informatics in China. At present, there are four teachers in the Institute. Professor Wang Wei is the vice chairman of the eighth Committee, Professor Cao Jindan is the deputy leader of the education group, Professor Zhang Yunqiu is the member of the medical big data and artificial intelligence group and the education group, and Associate Professor Sun Li is the member of the youth committee. It is reported that the 26th National Conference on medical information of Chinese Medical Association will be held in Zhuhai, Guangdong Province from October 22 to 24, 2020.
