In the 7th Jilin College Students' biological experiment skills competition of "Jilin Jingke Cup" which ended on September 28, 2019, after incentive competition, Chen Yingjie and Luo Huijia (grade 2016) of preventive medicine, Jiang Yajun and Wen Yawen (grade 2017) of radiation medicine won the first prize, Wang Yuexuan and Wei Yudong (grade 2016) of preventive medicine, Wang Qiong and Han Shushu (grade 2017) won the second prize. Wang Zhicheng, Yang Hui, Li Yong and Li Zhuolin won the first prize of excellent instructor.
Our college has participated in the school competition for 7 times and the provincial competition for 6 times in a row. This activity has been widely concerned by students. This year, 106 students signed up for and received the training. The training focused on students' laboratory biosafety awareness, standardized experimental operation habits and teamwork ability. After the preliminary screening of the written examination, microbiological and physiological operation examination, 12 groups of the third prize were selected. On behalf of our hospital, we participated in the 8th Jilin University Students' biological experiment skills competition, and won 6 groups of the first prize and 6 groups of the second prize in the competition. The School of public health won the excellent organization award in the competition. The results of this competition not only affirmed the professional quality of our teachers and students, but also showed the elegant demeanor of our students. The rigorous and serious guidance of our teachers and the style of exploring the nature of science left a deep impression on the students. This will also inspire teachers' sense of mission and responsibility of education first. The college will take this opportunity to continue to explore and innovate practical teaching methods in student training, so as to improve the teaching quality of the college.
