In order to strengthen the "people-oriented" talent training concept, improve the student-centered open talent training system, and further broaden students' international vision, Professor Ren Shuping of the school of public health led nine undergraduate students to Seoul National University for a week-long visit and exchange activities from August 19 to 25, 2019.
During the visit, our delegation visited Seoul University Medical School, health examination center and global medical center. Seoul National University held academic lectures on public health and preventive medicine for students, and held discussions with Chinese students. In addition, Professor Ren Shuping and Professor Jiang Daxi, former dean of Seoul University School of medicine, Professor Hong runzhe, head of Department of preventive medicine, and Professor Jin Hongen, director of global medical center, conducted undergraduate graduation practice program, undergraduate exchange program, postgraduate joint training program, etc We have conducted in-depth communication and conversation in the fields of overseas curriculum introduction and scientific research cooperation, determined the future cooperation intention, cooperation fields and cooperation contents of the two sides, and planned to sign a cooperation agreement.
Through this exchange and study visit activity, students' international vision is broadened, students' interest in learning is stimulated, and it has a certain impact on future planning. At the same time, Jilin University Students' mental outlook and Chinese culture are spread through communication. The school of public health will continue to strengthen international cooperation, cultivate talents with international vision and Bethune spirit, and strive for the goal of "double first class".
